On a rainy cold day, there is nothing more soothing than a hot bowl of Nigerian Pepper soup with its spicy taste and lots of meat or fish of your choice; you will just keep eating till the bowl is empty.
There are so many recipes to making pepper soup, am just going to be showing you the basic one that I use always.
Ingredients
Meat or fish of your choice
Salt and seasoning
Ground pepper
Ground crayfish
Ground pepper soup spice (you can get this in any local market in Nigeria)
Scent leaves
Onions and ginger
Directions
Wash and boil your meat or fish with water just enough to cover it, add your onions and ginger sliced thin with salt and seasoning until its half way cooked. Add your pepper soup spice and scent leaves that you have washed and sliced cook till the meat is completely cooked, serve while hot with boiled yams, plantain or bread. Enjoy and remember to leave me your comments.
