If there is one thing this worldwide pandemic has taught us i would say its finding strength within us and way to get creative and this also applies to things like food, skin care health and a host of other things, basically this period has turned all of us into DIY ( do it yourself) experts!
So with that said, today i will be showing you how you can make brown sugar from the comfort of your home/kitchen ,we know there are tons of recipes that require brown sugar as well as other health reasons why some people rather use brown sugar than the regular white sugar , so imagine you ran out of brown sugar in your pantry and you where really trying to make that delicious cinnamon rolls for breakfast whew!
Dont worry its very easy to make yourself and the best part is that it requires only two ingredients which you might already have in your pantry.
Homemade brown sugar is by far the easiest do it yourself project , plus it saves you a lot of money and stress if you run out of it or if the shops close down again and we are all mandated to be in self isolation.
THINGS YOU CAN USE BROWN SUGAR FOR

Banana Bread- this recipes also calls for brown sugar as it helps the bananas and all the ingredients come together nicely giving it that rich taste and texture
Face mask– if you are into beauty mask you wold know that this is a pantry must have.
Chocolate chip cookies– oh my goodness your chocolate chips cookies isn’t complete without brown sugar
Caramel sauce- brown sugar is the key to getting the perfect caramel sauce
There are ton of uses for brown sugar as i have listed above, so lets just get into making it already.
1 Cup white sugar
For the above measurement you will get an in-between light and medium brown sugar, so if you like the really dark brown sugar you will need to increase your molasses and for very light brown sugar you can decrease the molasses .
In a bowl mix together the white sugar and molasses till both are well incorporated, you can use a whisk of even a fork till every white sugar is completely immersed in the molasses and you have a beautiful looking brown sugar.
