Who says no to chocolate? Well not me and definitely no one I know and since it’s back to school season, this recipe is perfect for your kids; you can make the dough and just store it up in the refrigerator, bring out and bake whenever you want.
This recipe is so easy, yummy, moist and delicious plus it requires no special skills to make it, the last batch of these I made was finished the very same day, guys it’s that delicious trust me.
With cookies I try to make it as yummy and nutritious as can be, so you will always find that they taste just like mini cakes.
For this recipe you will need the following
1) 3 cups flour
2) 1/3 cup of cocoa powder
3) 1 cup sugar
4) 1 cup powdered milk
5) 1 teaspoon baking powder
6) 1 teaspoon baking soda
7) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8) 125 grams butter
9) 1 egg
In a large bowl or your mixer, mix together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, this should take about 3 minutes.
Turn on your oven and set to 250 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Now add in your egg and vanilla extract to the butter mix and beat for another 2 minutes, next you add all the dry ingredients, mix on medium speed until soft dough is formed.
Bring your dough onto a floured surface and roll out to about an inch thick.
Using a cookie cutter, cut into your desired shapes and bake for 10 minutes.
Allow to rest after baking for about 20 minutes and you can enjoy with a glass of milk.
You can keep these cookies in a jar and close tightly, store in your fridge for up to one month.
I hope you try this recipe and let me know in the comments section, thank you so much and see you in my next post Xoxo.
