For every new mum, the weaning period is sort scary to get into, you are wondering if your baby will be a picky eater or what to give your baby, and also how to take them from breastfeeding to eating solid food. As difficult as this may seem there are a few recipes that could make this journey a bit easier for you.
Been a mum of two I can tell you that there are some recipes that work well with kids all the time and this one right here is a winner.
So for this recipe you will need the following:
1 Egg yoke (cooked)
2 Meduim sized carrots
Half a glass of your baby’s milk (formula)
Peel the potatoes and cut into small chunks and place in a sauce pan with water, cut the carrots and add that to the potatoes, also peel the Apple and cut into the saucepan as well.
Place your saucepan on your cooker and cook for 20minutes. Strain the saucepan content and place them in a blender, now add in your egg yoke and milk, blend for two minutes until smooth and creamy.
If it’s too thick add more milk to the consistency that your baby can take and feed.
Store any leftovers in the freezer for not more than 3days.
