It’s common knowledge that animals emit higher pitch tones during their mating season. What do we know, we as humans do it too! Studies have found that women tend to sound more high pitched when nearing the time of ovulation. This happens on a subsconscious level and is said to result from the presence of feminizing hormones. This is how nature takes its course to attract the opposite gender as a cue of a woman’s fertile period.

Some studies were conducted on women just by asking them to say a standard phrase and had their pitching recorded. The study also said that women also tend to have a slight change in behaviour nearing their ovulation, in terms of being more feminine, more flirtatious and paying more attention to dressing styles.

Have you noticed any such unintentional behaviour in yourself?
