What is your favourite part of a wedding?

I’ve got 2 weddings coming up next month, almost back to back. I enjoy attending weddings simply because I love the euphoria of a wedding. I love watching the beautiful bride and the happy couple. Most of the time, their happy faces are enough to light up the room. Or is that purely my own hyped up imagination? I surely hope not! A wedding is the happiest day of a couple’s life and is the most cherished day of their lives at that point in time, isn’t it?

What do you like best about a wedding? In the movie “27 Dresses”, Jane and Kevin both enjoy looking at the face of the groom as the bride makes her big grand entrance down the aisle. For me, I’m the old school type and like to see the bride. The groom is almost totally invisible to me (obviously that’s not the case at my very own wedding!).

Every bride is lovely and I like to watch her walking down the aisle. I can’t explain it, but I just find that part the best part of a wedding. She’s in a world of her own and I can only imagine what goes on in her head as she moves towards her love of her life, ready to take the vow to be together forever irregardless of what the future holds for them. It’s a beautiful moment.

What is your favourite part of a wedding? Besides the great spread of food, okay?
