There is no right or wrong to attraction
Borrowing the title from a phrase I heard a man quip this morning on the radio, I kind of agree with him. There really is no controlĀ over feelings of attraction towards someone, is there?
I was listening to discussions about how men and women cheat on each other while in a relationship or worse yet, married. Whilst it’s easy to say that you can’t help falling for someone or just feeling attracted to someone else other than the one you are with, there is still a sense of self control to stay loyal and not do anything about it. It may be hard, and temptations may be strong, but there is still control on this if only you care to exercise it.
But I also wonder, if you start to develop attraction towards someone else, does this mean that you are out of love with the one you are with? Or can you still love the person just as much, but at the same time be attracted to someone else?
Matters of the heart are very tender. Tread carefully before you ruin the life of your loved one, and perhaps even your very own. A moment of thrill and fun could see a future of none.
