He’s living off the wages of prostitution, so you bet he’s a pimp. That’s the definition of one. Maybe somewhere out there there’s a woman who just decides on her own that prostitution is a good way to make a living, but I’ve worked at a nonprofit that serves prostituted women, and out of our thousands of clients, we’ve never had one who began prostituting as a simple economic choice. Um, it may seem like rebel-rousing to say so, but I think, as I always do, that what a woman chooses to do is her choice. A man may have influence, but the days of women submitting to men just because they are men are OVER.

That said, in this case, I don’t know enough about the circumstances to comment on the nobility of the man (or woman) involved. If he’s MAKING her do sex work, that ain’t cool. If she freely chooses it, so be it. Lots of people do jobs I wouldn’t do, but I don’t go around criticizing them for it (unless they put a parking ticket on MY car!).

There are a certain type of men who have no principles,morality or ethics. It does not matter what their women do as long as they can bring in lots of dough and they don’t have to work their butt out to support the family.I am afraid there exist such kind of “soft” men in our society.

Sometimes,there is no choice as these people lack the qualifications or skills to earn enough to lead a comfortable and decent life.
